Namalusu Island is the second island in Lake Victoria to be developed exclusively for leisure use. A small luxury Lodge is being built on the island to provide a focus for leisure and watersport activities.In addition there will be an exclusive club whose members are drawn from the elite of the local business community. The localised weather consists of an offshore/onshore wind system: most days a pleasant wind from the south cools the island. Namalusu have the attraction of existing infrastructure being in place which will greatly ease the business of creating the perfect beachside property
